Amy Hession

Pastoral Support

Amy is a West Midlands based Community Dance Artist and Holistic  Therapist with over 18 years experience supporting wellbeing through movement and Holistic practice . A graduate of Coventry University with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Professional Practice (2003), she is passionate about making dance accessible to everyone, regardless of age, experience, or body shape.

Amy has experience delivering workshops and classes within a variety of community settings, including older adults and young people. She currently supports dancers and artists on projects across the West Midlands, alongside providing pastoral and creative support within a local learning disabled dance company. Amy also continues to perform with an older adults dance company and as a support dancer within a men’s dance group.

Alongside her dance practice, Amy works as a Holistic Therapist specialising in women’s health and wellbeing, bringing a warm, nurturing and compassionate approach to all aspects of her work.
