Beatrice Perini
Dance Artist | Team Teaching Performer


Beatrice is a performer, choreographer, movement director, Health and Wellbeing professional, and facilitator with over 20 years of experience in site-specific contact improvisation, aerial dance, somatics, and embodied practices both in the UK and abroad.

Organisations she has worked with include GLA, Culture Mile and ArtULTRA, Southwark Council, AWA Dance, and Creative Partnership; also dance companies such as Arts and Gardens, Candoco, AKADEMI, Tangled Feet, and Sign Dance Collective; she’s a senior associate artist of Scarabeus Theatre and an on-going collaborator of the company since 2005; and a trustee at Chisenhale Dance Space since 2023.

Beatrice is a trained yoga teacher with a specialization in prenatal yoga and a foundation in Trauma Sensitive Yoga from The Yoga Clinic London. She has also complemented her applied knowledge with courses in mental health and inclusive practices, communication and social sciences such as: MHFA; Strategy and Skills for Learning and Development (SSLD) with the University of Toronto; Skinner Release Technique, ID; Developing Teaching Practice for Inclusive Practice, a certificate awarded by Innovate Awarding.

In 2022, she began collaborating with Anjali on the Team Teaching project which has seen her work with inclusive dance groups such as Swindon Dance, Salto! Junior and Youth, Freefall Dance Company at BRB, and most recently Illuminate at Deda.

Her artistic interest is in embodied movement and architectural narratives; her practice is interdisciplinary, collaborative, and research-led; and in her work she always strives for a generous and critical dialogue aimed at nurturing individual agency, healthier communities, and environmental sustainability.
