Marianne Scahill-Pape



Marianne is an artist, creative producer and gallery learning specialist, skilled in bringing people and the arts together. She loves learning, and
co-producing art, projects, and events that connect and hold space for sharing stories and experiences that help us understand the world from diverse perspectives.

With 26 years’ experience working in the arts with partners, communities, academics, venues and environments, she is an experienced programme leader and cultural producer managing festivals, projects, events and curating exhibitions. Attaining a BA Hons in Fine Art Practice and Theory, and a teaching qualification, her person-centred engagement work is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, and informs dynamic programmes with SEND schools such as SENsory Atelier.

She leads the Learning and Outreach programme at Attenborough Arts centre, for 11 years, working with thousands of children and young people, teachers and artists every year.

Marianne is course leader for the SSC Disability and the arts module for third year medical students at University of Leicester, engaging with artists, activists and service providers with experience or lived experience of disability.

Marianne is passionate about equality and access in the arts, and exploring ways to generate equitable platforms for artists and audiences to engage with culture, and is honoured to join the board of Anjali Dance Company.
