Sara Macqueen

Trustee and Non-Executive Director

Sara Macqueen is a contemporary dance performer, choreographer and teacher. She graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a First-Class Honours (2014) and has performed and taught around the UK and Europe.

Sara founded and directs Linden Dance Company alongside husband Christopher Radford, focussing on positive physical and mental wellbeing within dance spaces, for professionals, youth and communities alike. Linden Dance tours nationally and internationally, as well as running a wide range of programs for young people and the community.

Sara was awarded the One Dance Uk Health & Wellbeing award in 2024, in recognition of her commitment to designing and promoting inclusive, empowering spaces.
